I can't say enough good things about the preschool that we have been blessed to be a part of for the past four years. And, how in the world can it have been four years ago that we started our first year with Hannah??
The preschool we went to is located in Sanger, and is part of the Sanger Adult School program. It is a co-op and the parents are required to work in the classroom on designated days throughout the year (two days in a single week every six weeks or so). They have a three-year old class and two four-year-old classes run by two amazing, patient teachers that we just loved!!
Not only did they focus on academics, but they prepared the children for Kindergarten by focusing on the routine of a school day, focused free play, directed crafts, and plenty of stories, songs, and learning time. Every single second of the school day was taken up with a learning activity, even if the kids weren't aware of it.
So, when it was time for the year to end, I started to get pretty nostalgic about the past four years. Who knew I would be sad to end the routine of driving the 25 minutes to and from school two days each week?
All that to say, Miss Claire is moving on up to Kindergarten this fall.
So, I did get this one sweet photo of her with her little graduation cap on... before we ended up with...
her little attitude about Mommy and the big camera in her face. (Come on Claire... just one and you can be done...)
Nope, still not looking...
Alright fine, I'll look at you...
In the church, singing graduation songs and earning their certificates.
And with Mrs. Hawkyard: the four year old teacher extrordinare.
The 'last day of school' photo
Nanny and Poppy came to watch Claire's sprcial night...
Posing with Hannah...
and finally with our family.
Happy graduation Claire-bie. We LOVE you!!
I can't believe it was two years ago that we celebrated this same event for Miss Hannah...
