This year I was not quite as prepared and fun as last year. I still made leprechaun footprints and led them to the kitchen where the girls found a big 'Happy St. Patrick's Day' sign. Then I made green milk for their Cheerios.
My Dad stopped by with a bag of St. Paddy's day goodies that my Mom had made up for the girls. She was out of town and couldn't bring them over. When my Dad arrived there was a little break in the rain (yes, we finally had a nice bit of rain this weekend!) and their was a beautiful rainbow outside. I thought it was pretty cool to see a rainbow on St. Patrick's Day!!
Hannah and I were headed out to her dance competition later that day, so she couldn't even wear green until later... but Claire found her green shirt and green bow and I thought she looked just adorable!
For my own sanity, I did not attempt a rainbow cake this year. :-)
