My kids are toothpaste snobs.
Wait. No.
They are toothpaste wimps.
Maybe your kids are the same way, but mine only like the sweet-bubble-gum-tastes-like-you-are-brushing-your-teeth-with-sugar stuff.
In an affort to break them of this habit, and move them toward a normal minty-fresh mouth I found a 'junior' toothpaste a few months ago. In my opinion, not quite as minty as adult stuff, but a step away from the sugary tasting stuff.
(Enter disclaimer here: as long as my kids have healthy teeth, I realize I shouldn't be picky about their toothpaste... but for whatever reason we have chosen to fight this battle.)
I don't know why, but Hannah thinks that if she uses up all of this tube she will be able to go back to her other kind or find a new kind or...??? So, she has been anxiously waiting for the tube to be empty. The problem is that it is one of those never-ending tubes. Every night/day she brings it too me to give her a bit on her toothbrush and every night there seems to be just enough to squeeze onto the brush. And then every night/day it's as if all her toothpaste hopes are just crushed for about ten seconds before she moves on.
I really am starting to feel bad about this situation. I mean, is it really that bad?
Oh the battles we fight, and the things our kids are picky about!
