We're Goin' to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

Friday was the first field trip for the year for Miss Claire.  She was so excited all week and sang her special song every day leading up to the trip. 

"We're Goin' to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...How about You, You, You?..."

This year, the preschool opted for a fall zoo trip instead of a pumpkin patch trip.  Many of the kids were at the school last year when we went to the pumpkin patch, so they wanted to do something different. 

As a family, we had decided not to do Zoo Boo this year, so going with the preschool was a nice alternative.

Our trip started out with a school bus ride... Claire even loved the freeway when she went on it in the bus ;-)

We started out by heading toward the monkeys...

but, took a little detour to the elephants first...

 Since every child had an adult with them, they encouraged us to pair up.  Claire chose to go with her friend Lexi.

She said her favorite was seeing all the giraffes!
