Well Hello August.

Here we are. 

August.

I am ten posts behind and trying to catch up.  How is it that I get behind in the summer when I have nothing much going on? 

I can say with a very happy heart that I have been taking days off from the computer at a time and enjoying my family.  It brings tears to my eyes to see how truly fast the girls are growing and changing.  Not just physically growing, but totally and completely GROWING UP. 

In a few short weeks I will have a first grader. 

In. School. All. Day. 

What?!?!

I am going to miss her so, so much.  And, truth be told, I have no idea what Claire and I are going to do in the afternoons together without Hannah.

Eveyone keeps mentioning to me that they are ready for school to be back in session.  Is it ok that I am not?  Yes, there is more arguing and fighting in the summer.  But there is also more imaginative play, time to explore, time to swim and take road trips, time to do things you haven't had a chance to get to the rest of the year.  I need more of that time. 

So, I say hello to August, but I would prefer it to still be July.
