Tahoe with the Fam, Part 4... Beach Day

I have no idea why in the world we thought this was a good idea.  While it was fun when all was said and done... the execution of our little beach plan was really terrible. 

First of all, we decided to go to the beach in Tahoe on a Saturday in early August.  Let's just say everyone else is trying to do the same thing. 

Secondly, we decided to stop to get sandwiches before heading to the beach...wasting precious time that we really did need later.

Finally, we picked a beach that was PACKED and had to wait in line for a very long time to even park. 

Word to the wise... plan better next time!

All that being said, it was a pretty enjoyable time once we actually got there.  The water was FREEZING, but these crazies decided to go in.  Hannah thought it was great and had a blast playing ball with John and Brian.  Such brave guys... that water was SO cold!

'Twas a not-so-easy beach trip, but fun never the less :-)
