Dance Recital 2011: Part Two, Zip-a-dee-doo-dah!

Claire started her first year of dance class this year.  She took a tap/ballet class that ended up being the same class as a few of my friend's daughters.  It was actually a nice break and chatting session for us Mommys as well as a fun class for our girls.

Her recital was a tap dance to Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah!

And here she is all ready to go for the recital.  She was so patient for the rehearsal, waiting in her costume for nearly two hours while her sister got to go on the stage twice.   

Once they were finally able to perform, she did such a great job!

And here are the girls that we got to know so well over the year.

  Another little girl in the class gave each girl a Teddy Bear, how sweet is that?!?!
