- Claire's last day of preschool was today... weird, but YAY! That means summer is that much closer to being a reality. I have photos of this one, and will share soon. I also worked in her classroom last week... what a change in the kids from the beginning of the year.
- I never posted about it, but my fancy camera was accidentally dropped and broken on Easter. I am not much of a 'possesions' person, but this really bummed me out. Thankfully, I bought the protection plan that covers ANYTHING that could happen or go wrong with the camera....and THANKFULLY they fixed it and sent it back as good as new. It was in my mailbox today! Let's just say it felt just a few steps below a family member being broken or sick. Strange to feel that way about a possesion, but it's the truth. So happy to have it back safe!
- We are in a monthly Spades group (like a Bunco group, but you play Spades) and May was our month to host. My house usually gets a decent detailed cleaning job the week we have Spades so I enlisted the help of my Mom and we cleaned fan blades, window blinds, baseboards, dusted every surface I could reach with a stepstool, windows, and even wiped doors and door frames. I am not great at getting housework done on a regular basis so this was a huge feat and all will most likely not be done at one time again until November, the next time we host.
- At the above mentioned Spades group we had a super yummy 'Apple French Toast Casserole' and two types of homemade Quiche. I was feeling very domestic last weekend.
- Hannah has been reading whole books. She read 'Green Eggs and Ham' to us tonight entirely on her own (asking for help with 2 words). She has been able to do this for awhile, but her confidence still waivers a bit. We have been encouraging her and it seems to be working. She is able to read most of the books labeled Level One on the top right. I am looking forward to working on this more over the summer.
- Hannah 'MADE' the swim team! She had her test today and her coach said she is now on the team for sure! Yay!
- After hearing the pediatrition of a friend's newborn baby discuss the danger of whooping cough, I went straight to the pharmacy to get my own shot. My arm is getting over being sore.

Life again
I feel like I haven't written much in the past few days... I feel like I am ALWAYS busy, but I haven't taken many photos or written much to prove it.

First of all, a big thank you for sharing that your house doesn't get thoroughly cleaned often. I feel a little better. And second, you must share your yummy casserole and quiche recipes. I never feel domestic, so those might help. And I'm so glad your camera has returned to you in working order! I would miss your pictures!
