Next, we were on a mission to find some actual pumpkins. The kids had their hopes up, so we could not dissapoint. We landed at a lot full of funky pumpkins, gourds, rides, and other fun kid-related fall stuff. We spent a half hour or so exploring and enjoying the great, different pumpkins.

(an attempt at) Cobb Ranch and the Pumpkin Patch
On October 7th we headed out to Cobb Ranch with our friends Kelly, Justus and Haven. They were going to be leaving town for awhile, and we wanted to get some fall fun in before they left. We headed to Cobb Ranch, thinking we would beat the crowd and get some pumpkins early. Unfortunately, we were a day or two early and the patch wasn't yet open. So, we took advantage of the ranch and wandered around on a little self-guided tour to see some horses, an old fire truck, and the orchards on the property. I am not entirely sure this was allowed, but we were quick and the kids enjoyed running around. :-)
