Claire took a field trip.

Claire's preschool went to the pumpkin patch on October 14th.  They opted to go to Cobb Ranch, which we weren't able to get into the previous week, and they took their first school bus ride to get there!

Cobb did such a great job.  They gave a little class about how pumpkins and corn grow, took the kiddos on a hay ride, and then they went out to the patch to pick their own pumpkin.  They even have animals and a picnic area to use when you are done with your pumpkin fun..

Here is Claire with a few of her classmates.  It was really pretty hot that day (mid-nineties!) and they weren't having the whole sitting on hay thing at all.  Honestly, I think Claire was pretty hot and wasn't really in to the whole adventure.  I made the mistake of telling her she could have a snack when we were done and that was really all she could think of when she was supposed to be doing the fun stuff.  I also brought the complete wrong camera and ended up with a number of these really close-up shots which don't capture how truly pretty Cobb Ranch is in the fall. 

Anyhow, we survived Claire's first field trip!
