Soccer: Freedom Rockets (under 6)

Hannah played soccer again this year.  It was her second year, and we saw some major improvements from last year, and from the begining of the season to the end.  She played for a team based at her school and they dubbed themselves the 'Rockets'.  Her coach, Tony, was really great and had the kids out doing drills and scrimmaging two nights a week, and they played their games on Saturdays.

Like all of her other activities, Hannah really enjoyed playing soccer.  She was pretty timid at the begining of the season, but by the last two games I noticed her being a lot more agressive.  She scored two goals (one in the first game and one towards the end of the season.) and was starting to understand the strategy of the game and to get into defensive positions.  By the end of the season, John and I were really getting into it and excited for Hannah's improvements.  We were really sad to see it end. 

Hopefully we can find the time next fall to participate in another season.  I think Claire would enjoy it as well :-)
