This year has been a year of change. John "changed" jobs, which gave me the opportunity to have an extra job of my own. It has been a blessing... when I needed to work more, I could. But right now, as I have been busy with photography and chauffeuring kiddos around I have been working less. My point is that my routines have suffered. What was once a weekly thing, menu planning has become a memory. Daily housework has suffered, causing some days to be filled with mountains of laundry and cleaning marathons... not exactly my idea of a smooth running household.
Now, I am really old fashioned at heart. I believe there are definite man and woman roles in a household. I realize that it is my responsibility to make sure things around the house run smoothly. Simply put, I am just not that organized. I need simple, fool-proof routines.
That all being said, I am ready again to tackle the world of menu planning. Thankfully I still have about 12 meals in my freezer from Brooke and my most recent OAMC day. This really makes menu planning easy. Write it down. Take it out of the freezer the day before. Prepare about a half hour before dinner time. Bing. Bang. Boom.
