I have learned so much this year. Number one is the fact that I am not in control. God is running the show and I have learned that what is today may not be the same tomorrow morning.
I opened my email the other night to an email saying that my place of employment (that I had just worked a 7 hour shift mere hours before) was going out of business and that it was closing the doors the next morning. Talk about abrupt. No more job for me.
I am not sad or worried. God will provide. Just as He has and always will. I had been debating quitting, and now don't have to deal with that decision.
So now I am on to different things. I can focus on the house and girlies. I have become obsessed with fun crafts. Tonight we made hand and footprint reindeer and gave the antlers some serious bling (thanks to Auntie!). I will have to post a photo sometime soon. They are too cute!
I have also been keeping up with some wonderful photography sessions. I feel blessed each time I am given the opportunity to photograph. I have even been teaching myself a little digital crafting and am designing some Christmas photo cards!
Change happens. Sometimes when you aren't expecting it. Sometimes when you are. Thankfully I am a person who can usually go with the flow :)

So sorry to hear about your job, though it sounds like you were ready for that change. Hopefully this will mean a door opening elsewhere--more of your business? Other ways to work from home around your girls?
Hang in there.
