This weekend is the Madera Wine Trail's February Wine and Chocolate weekend. We actually went to this two years ago with our friends, the Debbas' and really enjoyed ourselves, so we enlisted Nanny (my Mom) to watch the girls and we spent the day tasting some great wines and soaking in the BEAUTIFUL 70º+ weather. It is funny how much I have learned about wine in the past two years and feel like I have finally 'acquired the taste' for good wine and know what types I gravitate toward.
We hit up CRU Wine Company, Chateau Lasgoity, and our favorite Ficklin Vinyards (if you like Port... you will LOVE Ficklin Port!)
Great wine, great company, beautiful weather, we really had a perfect day!
