Today was fabulous! John and I were given the gift of an all-day Nanny (Grandma) care - thanks Mom!
First we headed out to Madera for the weekend wine tasting trail. It was my first time doing this, but we went with friends that are seasoned pros! We went to three faboulous wineries, tasted many dessert wines, and had some chocolate and cheese.
Next we had our monthly spades group. I know, it is sad that all 6 couples had no plans for Valentines Day, so we all took advantage of a fun night together with super yummy food, wonderful fellowship, and the guys all suprised their wives with a dozen red roses!
The girls didn't have too bad of a day either. My Mom suprised Hannah with Bendaroos (an arts and crafts thing she has been asking for...) and Claire with a new book, so they were excited to spend the day with Nanny and their new goodies!
