We started the day at Disneyland, hitting up the left side... Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones. Claire and I did Jungle Cruise twice while the family did Indiana Jones. I am blanking on all of the specifics, but I know we did Matterhorn again, the Circus Train, Storybook Land, the teacups, and maybe a few others before lunch.
We headed to California Adventures for some Mexican food for lunch. Then we visited the Bug's Life rides and the rides on the 'Boardwalk' area. I am not all that familiar with California Adventures so I am sure we missed diung a bunch of fun things. I am told there is a great Toy Story ride that we missed and we didn't get to see the new nighttime light show.
If you are going to visit the parks and you are reading this and you want to see the light show at California Adventures, you have to get a FastPass at the beginning of the day to see the nighttime show. (I am not sure if this means you can't get anymore FastPasses.) We didn't know this the first day, and didn't want to go directly to CA on the second day, so we missed out.
While my Dad, Claire, and my sister were enjoying the Boardwalk, John, Brian, Hannah, and I all rode California Screamin' - the largest coaster there - which I had never been on. Normally, I don't ride this type of coaster... I have never done the upsidedown stuff before, but someone suggested it and the rest of us didn't back down. Hannah is tall enough by a few inches, so we figured it couldn't be too bad. Let's just say it was not my thing. Hannah says she liked it, but she seemed pretty freaked out when it was all over. I didn't look into it enough to know that the begining was 0-60MPH in like 4 seconds! EEEK! We are all alive and know better now. I am just not a thrill seeker to that degree. ;)
Regan, Brian, and my Dad had to leave around 5:00, so John, the girls, and I headed back to Disneyland and rode any and everything we wanted to again. I think we did Gadget's Go-coaster 3 times in a row... there were just no lines! We went on Pirates and Thunder Mountain again and saw part of the Parade.
We decided to go to Downtown Disney to have dinner. So we called it a day, we were exausted! Fun times at Disneyland!
F is for Frank.
R is for Regan and bRian ;)
While I was on the Zephyr (above), these guys walked by....
