Zoo Boo: a family tradition

The girls were able to use their Halloween costumes many times this fall.  The first time was to go to the annual Zoo Boo at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.  We enjoy spending an evening every year getting the girls dressed up, seeing many of the animals, and collecting candy!  Plus it is also a great excuse to get the girl's costumes all ready to go well before Halloween.

This year, Hannah was able to bring a friend, and we met some more friends when we got to the zoo.  The weather ended up being nice, slightly cool, but tolerable.  It was a great night!

Here are the first of many photos I took of the girls in their costumes this year.  They were both poodle-skirt 50's girls.  I, with the help of some friends, made the skirts and pettiskirts.  The rest of the costumes were pieced together: shirts from Target, shoes from Payless, and accessories from a shop on eBay.
