It's Almost One...

...in the morning.  The house is quiet, except the humming of both the heater and the fireplace.  John is asleep on the couch and I will be waking him as soon as I am done writing.
It has occured to me that I have not only neglected my blog, but I haven't even read other's blogs in ... weeks...
Thanksgiving has come and gone and now I suppose I am to be thinking thoughts of Christmas.  I have had no desire to shop lately, and aside from an 11:30am trek to Target, I didn't venture Black Friday this year.  I just have no motivation on the shopping, so not me and so very sad.  I think I am aiming toward online shopping this year, as much for the ease as it will be to see the UPS man pull up in front of my house with boxes of gifts.  It is like a little gift for me before I can gift it to another... more bang for the buck in my opinion. Beyond that, I am aiming for the decor to be up by December first.  I would say by tomorrow, but I think that is a little ambitious.
I am in the middle of editing photo sessions from this year.  I truly love what I do, and have really been feeling more in my element this year, which is a huge PRAISE.  My only obsticle has been weather, so hopefully I can get through the next four sessions without too much freezing or raining.  It has been a beautiful year for family photographs.
I suppose I should head to toward bed.  I have come to cherish these late nights, editing in the nice quiet house... too late to even have the TV on in the background.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.  Mine was filled with lots of love, food, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Goodnight blog-world.  I hope I can resume posting more soon.
