Snow

'Tis that time of year! We spent New Year's day sliding down a small hill on our bottoms, how about you? :)
This is the third annual snow trip to Fish Camp, a mile or so before you reach Yosemite, with the Castiglione family. The past two years we were fortunate enough to have the Explorer with 4-wheel drive. Since John's new car is a much less ...flashy(?)... we did not have the means to get back to our normal location. (We refused to buy chains for a company car) So, since the toboggans we normally use were misplaced and the snow in the area was much more sparse than we had hoped, we had to get creative with our location for the "day-of-snow-fun".
Enter: small play area near Tenaya Lodge. Nothing flashy, but enough icy snow to make a hill for some two-six year olds to play in for a good few hours.
Hopefully we can make another few trips to the snow this year. I feel the pressure to use the snow gear at least a few more times!
