The last two days of our vacation we did Tahoe-ish things. On Thursday we attempted to hike the Eagle Peak trail, but it was not stroller friendly. We ended up at Taylor Creek and did the Rainbow Trail. Beautiful scenery there. For dinner we had Fire and Ice, a newer restaurant at the state line that my sister's boyfriend, Jeff, had recomended. WOW! It was the coolest restaurant! Kind of a cross between a buffet and tepanyaki.

Friday my Dad, John, Hannah, and I decided to take the Tahoe Queen boat ride to Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. It had been about ten years since we had done this and enjoyed the history and beautiful scenery. Oh, and before that, JOhn and I were able to go down to the casions for an hour of gambling. We came out 20 minutes after we had gone in with $110! It paid for our little Tahoe Queen trip. :)

And Saturday we drove back home...
What I learned on this trip:
1. IPOD's are great, but you need to make playlists.
2. Car DVD players are a great, and they work especially well when you only use them for long trips.
3. I have a totally new definition of boring scenery.
4. Canada has 10 provinces and 2 territories
5. We got 42 of 50 states playing the license plate game!
6. Don't forget to bring the baby's booster seat on future trips.
7. We could benefit from having a GPS.
8. It doesn't get dark in Idaho until 10:00pm in the summer.
