Last Weekend

I have been meaning to add these pictures, but hadn't uploaded them yet. Hannah had her first dance recital last Saturday. She did an amazing job! I think I was most impressed by all the little girl's patience throughout the day, as it was a loooong day of preparation and practice. I think Hannah just had fun being with her friends... the whole stage thing and hundreds of people watching didn't phase her in the least!
Hannah was also especially excited that her friend Ava could come and watch her do her dance. As soon as she saw her afterward she ran up and gave her a HUGE hug... how sweet!
And, this was the only picture I got of all of us there. It was crazy afterwards and very hot so everyone was pouring out. Not the greatest place to take a pic, but oh well.

And then on Sunday we created the world's smallest waterslide. Hannah had a blast for a good 2 hours going down the slide and soaking in the water. I think next year I will have to spring for the larger model. :)
John and I are both just so happy to actually have a backyard and room to let the kids be outside at all. In Paso Robles our backyard was a cliff (not joking at all) and when we lived here before the backyard was dirt and weeds. Slowly but surely we are planting and developing our yard. We have great plans that I am excited to see come to light!
