First Grade

Well, in her words, "It was great!"

Actually it was more like...

"...Mom I'm hot...
I need a drink...
Can I have a snack?...
Wait, what did you guys do while I was at school?...
Hrmpf...
It's really hot..."

Then after about 20 minutes in the air conditioned house and a nice big glass of water and a few minutes to relax...

"It was great!"

I got more details as the evening went on, but she truly seemed to be happy about the whole thing... so I guess we can call it all a success :-)

On another note, I did not cry.  I almost felt the twinge a few times, but once we started heading home from dropping her off I was fine.
