John, as I think i mentioned before, got a new job.
Great!
Three weeks of training in Connecticut...
NOT great.
He is finally back and we have been embracing all of the family time we can this weekend. It has been a few months since we have been in the regular 8:00-5:00 routine of life with all four of us here so we are actually kind of looking forward to that this week.
I have a very deep respect for any single parent, military family, or any other situation where one parent needs to be gone for an extended period of time. I have done it for a week or so here and there over the past few years, but never for this long and I can only imagine how it must be to have one parent traveling all the time be the 'norm'.
We are so happy to have him back home!! So much happens over the course of three weeks and I am so glad to be on the other side of it!! Welcome home babe!
