I have no photos as of now (because I am in the middle of multi-tasking and downloading them now would be a pain) but I will edit-to-add as soon as possible!
Hannah decided she could ride a bike the other day... and she just up and did it!
No training wheels or anything!
We were and are so proud of her. We just stood outside watching her ride up and down the street for a good half hour (we were also watching for cars, as she was learning in the ACTUAL street).
I guess the other day she was at the neighbor's house and the little girl's Dad helped Hannah try it out. She came home squeeling with happiness and said she could ride.
So on Saturday, right before the torrential dounpours hit us, John took off the training wheels of her bike, I gave her a quick pointer on how to get going, we armed her with a helmet, and away she went!
This is a big deal for Hannah. She has always err'd on the side of cautiousness (except on huge rollercoasters, go figure) and never seemed interested in her bike... so we never pushed the envelope. Not even a little.
So anyhow, YAY Hannah! I am so very proud of you for conquering your fears and learning to ride your bike... two weeks shy of your sixth birthday!!
