First Dental Visit

The other day I thought I had nothing to write about, but I missed the most obvious and biggest thing that happened that day... Claire had her first dentist appointment!

Actually, Hannah and I did as well, but Claire had never been. 

Hannah was so sweet.  I didn't even have to ask her, and maybe she truly feels this way, but she was actually talking up the dentist!  "Mom, I am so excited to go to the dentist!  I will get stickers, a new toothbrush, and some floss!  Claire, you will get STICKERS!"

So we all went in at the same time, each with our own hygenist, so I was unable to see Claire's reaction.  (Our dentist's office doest that on purpose because they feel the kids respond better when Mom and Dad aren't sitting right there.) 

I am told she did excellent!

Neither of them had any cavities, and they spent awhile coloring while they waited for me to get finished up.  I told the hygenist that it is the most relaxing trip to any type of doctor ever when they actually take care of your kids the whole time you are getting your teeth cleaned. 

So aside from the referal to the orthodontist (for me) and a follow-up appointment to fill a few small cavities (again, for me...boo!)  we had a very successful dentist trip.
