Claire: 44 months

{I had to title this post in months as a personal joke, just to remind myself that I saw some clothing the other day labeled as "48 months".  Seriously?!?  At age two you really need to just go with the age in years.}

This girl has been crazy lately. 

It seems to be a pattern of hers.  Defiant and difficult one week, then sweet and compliant the next.  I guess that is how most all kids are, but I feel she has it down pat... just when we think we have moved past the terrible-ness of the two-year-old, she hits the crazyness of the three-year-old. 

In other news though, she is working hard on learning all of her letters and letter sounds and we have noticed her pronunciation improving.  She has been using phrases like, "here's the thing, Mom" and correctly adding words like "intelligent" to her vocabulary. 

All in the name of growing up and moving to the next phase of childhood, I guess. 

I do find myself searching for signs that we still have a baby around here... but those signs are very few and far between.  This little gal is growing up!
