My kids are growing up...

I have been thinking lately about the changes around here in the past year.  The girls are truly growing up, changing, and becoming their own PEOPLE. 
It seems like it has happened so fast.  And then at the same time it felt like the baby stage was slow and tedious. 
The girls ride scooters, play with neighbor kids, think up imaginative games with their Barbies and stuffed animals, they even played a game of Candyland by themselves the other day.
The other thing is that, for the most part, they really get along.  They are happy to see each other after school (usually) and say sweet good-byes when they head off to their respective activities. 
I have to say, I like the changes.  I am sad to see the end of the baby era.  Who knows, maybe one day we will be back there... but for now our girls are growing up!
