The Four Hour Snow Trip

You can knock living in Fresno all you want, but this is one of the coolest things about living here: we live like an hour away from the snow, yet it NEVER snows here.

Why is this cool?  Let me explain...

One Sunday morning we though about going to the snow, so we did.  We didn't plan a huge thing.  We didn't have to rent a cabin, buy some chains, get the gear, etc.  We just got in the car and went, leaving our house at 11:42am and, after an hour and a half of snow-play and a stop on the way home at Sequoia for a sandwich, we were home at 4:35pm.  Badda-bing, badda-boom!

So here we have...
John and Hannah on a mountain
 Hannah again...
 Claire next to our snowman.
Hannah helping with another snowman... she looks so OLD here!
Claire helping with that next snowman.
OUTTAKE!!  What in the world is my oldest child doing, and is Claire sneezing?  The world may never know...
Claire next to our SUPER-GIGANTIC-MONDO snowman!!
 Me and my baby...
 Me and my older baby.
Claire wearing my glo(b)ves. <---that's what she calls them.
