Hannah cut beans and Claire poked potatoes

Our family was in charge of sweet potatoes and green bean casserole for Thanksgiving.  We prepared the night before, which was smart because usually I am the biggest procrastinator on stuff like this.  The girls are old enough now to help with a bunch of kitchen tasks...especially Hannah.

I like fresh beans rather than canned or frozen, so Hannah's job was to cut the beans before we bolied them. 

There wasn't much else to do, but we did need to bake the sweet potatoes so Claire poked holes in them. ;-)  

Yay for Thanksgiving prep and getting the kids involved in the kitchen!  I need to do this MUCH more often!
