Girls - 12, Boys - 0

We spent a few days over Christmas break taking a quick trip to Orange County to see some family and meet the newest member of my Mom's side of the family, Camden Olivia.  My family is spread all over the US (and sometimes overseas) and it is rare that they are in California at the same time, so we wanted to get down to see the out-of-towners when we could.

Personally, I think this is funny and I am curious to see how it plays out as more of the family starts having children... but there has not been a boy born into my Mom's side of the family in a very long time.

My Grandpa and Grandma had 3 daughters, each daughter had 2 daughters, I was the first of my cousins to have kids and (as you know) I have 2 daughters... if you lost count that is 11 GIRLS.  Well, my cousin and her husband welcomed their first child in September and low and behold she too is a girl!  That makes 12... a full DOZEN girls without a boy in the bunch.

Here is little Miss Camden Olivia... she is BEAUTIFUL!!

And here was an attempt at getting all three of the (third?) cousins together for a photo.

That's my favorite one of Camden.:) I think Grandma was the only child so all girls for 4 generations! It's really a win-win for whoever has kids next: they either continue or break tradition. Sweet!
