Christmas Dice

My Dad suprised us with a new tradition this year...Christmas Dice.

The premise is so simple.  We have nine people, so we had three sets of two dice.  My Dad had wrapped 12-15 gifts (small-value gift cards, candy, gum, toys, etc.) and dumped them in the middle of the table.  We set a timer for 4 minutes and the three people with the dice roll.  If they get doubles they grab a gift.  Then we pass the dice to the left.  You keep passing, rolling, and grabbing gifts until the time runs out.  If there are no gifts left in the middle, you may steal from anyone at the table.  When the time runs out, you open the gifts.  We added the option of trading, which worked great!

It was so fun, my Dad went overboard and had gotten enough small gifts to do this FIVE rounds!

Next year we think we are going to all pitch in for the gifts and definitely play again.
