Did you know that 3 is a magic number?

... because it is. 
When you are three you get to [finally] join activities without having them be "Mom and Me". 
You can be in swimming lessons, and VBS, and dance, and gymnastics, and preschool, and loads of other stuff!!!  Fun stuff. 
AND... you no longer have to stand back and watch from the sidelines as your older sister gets to do all of it. 
Three is also magic because your Mom has been waiting for you to be three for a whole year.  [lets be real honest here, she has been waiting for three years]  Waiting for the moment where she can sit back and relax while watching her kiddos enjoy their activities.  Waiting for the day she could go and enjoy a tea for an hour and read while her kiddos are at VBS or [wait for it] at SCHOOL!!!  This day is approaching, and this week has been a little peek into that life and all it could be. 
Claire seems so grown up as she has started to venture into this next phase of life.  She feels so very important.  I love that!
We are so close to having a THREE year old, and I am so EXCITED for this upcoming school year.
