Like I said in the previous post,
Kelly's post inspired me to attempt my own rainbow cake. I remember reading about this on a different blog last year and I had been really wanting to try to make one. (You were holding your breath to see if I tried, weren't you?) The recipe link is listed below, however her version is made low calorie to comply with Weight Watchers. I didn't have the proper ingredients to do her version, so I just made regular old cake batter. We didn't have two boxes of vanilla cake either, so we had one box of vanilla, and one box of lemon :)
Pan one, batter layered starting with purple.
Pan two, just the opposite.
And, the final product. Well, half eaten and haphazardly frosted. :)
Unfortunately, I threw it in the trash right after this photo was taken. Ahhh, the things we have to do when we are making better food choices.
