Well, I guess two days after her second birthday we are now potty training! Claire has had a dry diaper since she woke up this morning. She has gone twice on the potty today and had a dry diaper at nap time!
So far, what a world of difference between potty training the first daughter and the second! I have done NO rewarding and NO nagging! She sits and either goes or doesn't in about 10 seconds. I have done nothing but praise and encourage, and have a completely different mindset. In fact, she seems to be the one leading us into this new adventure. (Last night she told me she needed to go "real bad")
My experience tells me that this is such a long process (and I don't want to put the cart before the horse) but *hopefully* this will be a quick transition. She seemes genuinely excited to enter the world of the diaperless, and I will be more than happy to oblige... now what to do about the potty and vacation this weekend?
Yay for a half a day of success! Looking forward to more!

I'm so impressed! I haven't even begun with Colson and I am dreading it...you're inspiring me, a little. :) We're on vacation now, so maybe later this summer.
