Snowed in!... almost

We decided Monday was a good day of no school (and no work) so we made an effort at playing in the snow up near Bass Lake. Not only was there snow for play, but it snowed ALL DAY! It was so beautiful! I have only been in the snow a few times in my life, and have only actually seen it snow like this maybe once before so it was just a treat for me :) I want my girlies to have wonderful memories of this kind of stuff, so I hope we can make play days like this happen even more often when they get older.

It snowed so much that we thought we might end up snowed in for the night. Luckily there was a break for about an hour and we slowly but surely made our way out of what we affectionately refer to as the 'blizzard' {or the closest we will get to one in Central Cali}. A fun day of memories!
