I just read the testimony of a girl I have known since the seventh grade. I haven't really been in touch with her much since High School, but have kept her in my thoughts and exchanged greetings via MySpace or FaceBook. Anyhoo... the testimony documented her journey from Atheism to accepting Christ and was just so well-written, insightful, and inspiring.
It has had me thinking all day. God is good. He speaks to those who seek Him. God can change our hearts. He provides blessings and hope and miracles in our lives EVERYDAY.
Isn't it just so important to remember all He has given to us? I am so beyond thankful for the blessings in my life. I was looking for a different scripture and came across this in Colossians 2:6-7 "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
I know the timing of this is slightly cliche, but it is Thanksgiving week. What are you thankful for?

I loved your scripture! We do have so much to be thankful for. Today, I am thankful for my health, my family and my family's health. God has been so gracious to me!!
