First Preschool Field Trip

Hannah rode her very first school bus today as we went out to Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch for the preschool's first field trip of the year! First they all sat down and listened to the story of how the pumpkin patch got there...

Then they took a 'nature walk' over the wobbly bridge and through the tree house... (No pictures because I was holding Claire over the bridge)... then they saw a pond, so I took a pic of her and Avery... (Yes, the hair in her eye is driving me nuts too)...

...and after a snack they got to pick out their pumpkins, Claire got one too...

...and then hamed it up for the camera

It was a fun, exausting day! (Thanks for all your help Alice!) I am so glad we had already gone out there once this year so Hannah knew what to expect (i.e. the wobbly bridge).
Hillcrest is out in Reedly, and if you haven't gone out there yet, it is sooo worth the drive. Lots of stuff to check out for the young kids, and it is no cost to park or get in!

Great pictures! It's nice to see the other side of field trips - I taught preschool for seven years, so all I know is the teacher side of it. Field trips always made me nervous! I'm glad that you had fun.

So cute pics! I do love that there is no cost. Of course if you are like me, it ends up costing hundreds of dollars cause I got a speeding ticket! Oh well - it was a fun place!!
