I really enjoy being busy.
I like knowing I have things going on, and I work best under pressure. In some respects I am a procrastinator, but only because I know I will be most efficient when I am close to a deadline. (This is beside the point)
Anyhoo... this week was sort of crazy, but in a wonderful way. I was able to spend time with many close friends I hadn't seen almost all summer. I love catching up on what is new, and what they did over their break. (Two of my friends are teachers) We had a parent's orientation for Hannah's preschool, which went well. We did some couponing, and grocery shopping. Dealt with a flat tire. John had time to give the yard some TLC. Really a very productive week.
Claire is understanding more and more everyday. She can sign to me when she wants milk, and she signs 'please' and 'thank you' without too much prompting. She has a pretty short attention span, and is really keeping me on my toes. She also has a new-found freedom and thinks she can just roam wherever she wants...not good. It is hard to remember Hannah at this age, I am sure she was similar.
And... Hannah starts preschool on Wednesday. I am so excited for her, and she seems genuinely excited too! She will be in a class with a little girl who is very close friends of ours, so I am very happy she will know someone. I am thinking she will be very ready to go right in and have fun, we will see!
P.S. I know posts with no pictures aren't as fun. I am going to have to download some and share... soon!
