Hannah's Room

I want to be into decorating, I really do, but it is so hard when you have to worry so much about being on a budget. My next project is going to be Hannah's room. She hasn't had an update, well, since we lived here last and she had a nursery. Claire has gotten all of Hannah's baby stuff now, and Hannah's room needs an update. So, I have been thinking since we moved back about a color scheme and what type of theme I would like to incorporate into her room. Right now she only has a queen sized bed with a plain light pink comforter and white bedskirt (no headboard or anything), and a dark wood armoire. Her walls are beige (the same color as the rest of the house) and there is not one thing on her walls... yikes! I have stumbled across a few ideas. One being that she loves the whole princess thing, but it isn't my style to do anything commercial with Diney Princesses or anything. So, my idea is to be very "pretty" yet modern, and use this color combo found here... (kellijane) I love the light and dark pinks with white and a pop of turquoise! I need a headboard, and some shelves, some fun decorations, some artwork, and to paint the walls pink... can you tell I am getting excited about doing this!

And, I had to add this picture becaue of the stuffed frog! What princess room is complete without a stuffed frog? :)



I am going to try to add other ideas I have here before we get going too.
