Bass Lake with the Castiglione's

What a wonderful place! Last weekend we went to Bass Lake and spent the weekend with our friends the Castiglione family. We were so fortunate to be able to stay at Matt's parent's cabin and enjoy the 'great outdoors' only about an hour away from home. We enjoyed LOTS of card playing... they guys have come up victorious lately (argh!!). As well as good food, great conversations, and some time by the lake. Heck, we even went bowling! The kidos enjoyed some hard core play time out on the deck and we even managed to get Hannah in the lake for a good 3 minutes or so. It was also a nice reprieve from the 112 degree heat this week, as it was in the low 90's there!

We love spending time with the Castiglione's and look forward to our semi-annual trip this coming winter! Maybe a trip to Mountain House for french toast next time?!?
