We drove to Cambria

Today we decided to check out Cambria. It was appropriately nicknamed "Pines By the Sea". Just beautiful. John decided that he would like to live there someday or have a vacation home there. Who couldn't agree? We even found a "Firestones" which was called Main Street Grill there. Funny that we didn't know it was there, but it smelled good so we decided to check it out. We even found a little alcove of rocky beach area that John and Hannah checked out while I stayed on the top of a cliff lookout with Claire. Hannah saw "crabs, a starfish, and a pelican..." although she will add jellyfish to that list. :)

We went to check out where Hearst Castle is, and then found our way back down the coast to Morro Bay. Why do we never learn and bring warmer clothing? It was a wonderful summer Sunday of family time and time out of the house. I need to remember how wonderful and beautiful it is to live here. We are so fortunate to be so close to the coast.
